Vintage Fenton glass opalescent hobnail miniatures.  Each sold separately.  These pieces are shown in the company's 1953-1954 catalog.  Collectible and would make a great addition for any collector or a gift for a lover of vintage glass.

To make Hobnail pieces, the glass is blown or pressed into a mold like the one in the sketch.  Hobnail, like Coin Dot, uses two different processes, depending on the colors.  French Opalescent and milk glass are single layers of glass.  Skillful cooling and re-warming brings out the opacity of the edges and the hobs.  Crimped edges are made with the foot operated crimper.
